Qureshi to appear before Lahore’s ATC today

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been shifted to Kot Lakhpat jail Lahore from Adiala Jail.

According to jail sources, Shah Mahmood was transferred to Lahore under tight security in the early morning.

PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi would appear before Lahore’s anti-terrorism court (ATC).

He has been charged with seven cases of the May 9 incident in Lahore.

Adiala jail police have probed Shah Mahmood Qureshi in May 9 cases.

It is pertinent to note that the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb have acquitted former prime minister Imran Khan and PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case.
