CCPO LAHORE VISITS PROCESSION ROUTE ON PANDO STREET, CONDUCTS DETAILED INSPECTION OF SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS
Lahore, July 16:CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana visited the route of the 9th Muharram processions and majalis on Pando Street, Islampura. During the visit he conducted a detailed inspection of the security arrangements. SP City Qazi Ali Raza briefed him on the security measures in place.
Expressing satisfaction with the security arrangements the CCPO stated that Lahore Police are committed to maintaining peace during Muharram ul Haram. He emphasized that foolproof security measures have been implemented along the routes of the processions and majalis. He assured that Lahore Police are fully alert to ensure the security of the Muharram ul Haram events.
CCPO Lahore highlighted that control rooms, Safe City Authority and district administration cameras are continuously monitoring the security arrangements in real-time. He added that security personnel are diligently performing their duties along the procession routes, adjacent buildings and all access points. He also stressed the importance of adhering to the SOPs for processions and majalis.
SSP Operations Tassawar Iqbal, SP City Qazi Ali Raza, DSP Islampura and other officers were also present during the visit.
