CCPO LAHORE ORDERS TO ACCELERATE DISPOSAL OF PENDING CASES
Lahore, July 29: Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana chaired a meeting at his office to review the progress on pending cases and completion of pending road certificates. He warned the Circle Officers of Township, Defence and Gulshan Ravi for delays in submission of case challans to courts, instructing them to expedite their completion. He assigned DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Asghar the task of reducing pendency to zero under his supervision.
Bilal Siddique Kamyana emphasized the need for special attention to the timely completion of pending road certificates, electricity theft cases and outstanding case challans, stressing that immediate arrests of those involved in electricity theft should be ensured. He instructed tightening the net around wanted criminals and directed effective investigations to bring criminal networks to justice.
The CCPO mandated that cases involving women and children be handled on a priority and urged officers to focus on the quality of investigations. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that no lapse in providing justice to victims would be tolerated and highlighted the effective use of information technology to combat crimes and ensure justice for the citizens.
