District and Session Court Islamabad has rejected the plea to further extend the physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary Information Raoof Hassan.
After completion of an extended two-day physical remand, Raoof was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti.
Prosecutor Sheikh Amir argued that a technical report had been received which showed that all the accused are connected with each other. He also requested the court to extend the physical remand by five more days.
The defense counsel Barrister Ali Zafar argued that the accused had been on a physical remand for seven days. He told the Judicial Magistrate that Raoof was not feeling well and the defense counsel demand his checkup.
Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti rejected the extension of physical remand and sent Raoof Hassan to jail on judicial remand.
Duty Judge Mureed Abbas gave Raoof Hassan’s physical custody to FIA for two days on Sunday.
